Brandules

Your company has a way of doing things. Turn it into tools.

Brandule bran-jool noun

A Brandule is a small, purpose-built tool that turns your company’s standards and ways of working into repeatable output.

Instead of a template, a style guide, a folder of examples, and a list of instructions, people get one interface. They provide what’s unique to the task. The Brandule takes care of the rest.

“Open the template. Make a copy. Don’t change the header. Pick the right paragraph from the other document. Change these four fields. Make sure you use the new disclaimer. Susan has the latest version. Then save it as a PDF.”

That process shouldn’t be a set of instructions. It should be a Brandule.

The middle ground

Templates leave too much to the person using them. Enterprise document platforms ask the company to adapt. Custom software fits, but not for every small workflow.

Brandules sit in between: more structured than a template, smaller than an application, more specific than a generic platform.

What’s here

Brandules are issued per company and reached at that company’s own address. Those addresses are not listed on this site.

This site does not have accounts, pricing, or a signup form. The first tools are being built now.
